Output
Converts one document using JSON-compatible values and string mapping keys. Numbers that would change during conversion, negative zero, nonfinite values, timestamps, binary data, sets, ordered maps, pairs, merge keys, cycles and unknown tags are rejected. Quote values only when text is intended; this changes their type. Ordinary aliases are expanded for JSON. Comments, quote style and numeric spelling are not retained. Limits: 2 MiB of text, 50,000 expanded values and 100 nesting levels.




 
How to use YAML to JSON
 
  1. Select the conversion direction, then paste one document in that source format.
  2. Read the completed output. Unsupported values produce an error instead of a changed result.
  3. For dates or large numeric identifiers, use quoted strings only when the receiving application expects text.
  4. Copy the current completed output. Changing to invalid input clears the previous result.
