XML Compare Online is a free XML Tools utility that runs entirely in your browser — nothing you enter is uploaded.
Compares XML element and attribute names by namespace URI and local name; prefix spelling and attribute order are ignored. Attribute values stay literal, including QName-like strings. Child order and parsed text whitespace are significant; XML parsing normalizes line endings and entity references. CDATA and adjacent text are combined; comments, processing instructions and XML declarations are ignored. Paths use one-based child positions after those rules, not XPath. DTDs are unsupported. Limits: 2 MiB UTF-8 per input, 50,000 nodes and 512 element levels. This is a positional tree comparison, not schema validation, byte equality or XML canonicalization.
